Precision Rifle Matches

Privacy Policy

How Precision Rifle Matches handles personal information — what we collect, why we collect it, who can see it, and how to make a request.

Effective September 25, 2026

Summary

PRM collects what it takes to run a match — your account details, your entries, your scores, and the acknowledgements you sign — and shows the club you're shooting with what it needs to run the day. We don't sell your information, we don't run advertising, and we never store your card number.

You can see, correct or delete what we hold, and you can close your account yourself at any time.

01

Who we are

Precision Rifle Matches ("PRM", "we", "us") operates this app and the website you are reading this on. This policy explains what we do with personal information when you use PRM — whether you are browsing as a visitor, entering a match, or running a club.

Precision Rifle Matches is owned and operated by Kansas Arms Supply, LLC.

PRM is an independent platform. It is not a club, not a league and not a series, and it does not run matches or championships of its own. Every club on PRM runs its own page, its own roster, its own matches and its own league or season, and is responsible for the information it keeps about its own members and shooters. Where a club collects something PRM does not need — a paper waiver, a phone number written at the desk — that club's own practices apply to it.

02

Information you give us

You can browse matches, clubs, leagues, results and this website without an account. We ask for personal information only when you create an account, enter a match, join a club, or write to us.

  • Account. Your name, email address and password — or, if you sign in with Google, the name, email address and profile picture Google passes to us. You may also add a phone number, a profile photo and a public shooter handle.
  • Match entries. The division, class and any categories you enter under; your rifle details when a match asks for them (weight, caliber, bullet weight, muzzle velocity, suppressor use); whether you are shooting alone or paired with a partner in a Team Hunter match; your squad and firing order; and every waiver, safety briefing and acknowledgement you accept, with the time you accepted it.
  • Payment records. Which entry or fee you owe, how you say you will pay (cash, Venmo, Zelle, or card), the pricing tier you picked, and whether a club officer has marked it paid. If you pay by card, the payment is handled by Stripe and we receive only a confirmation and the last four digits of the card — your full card number never reaches us.
  • Club and league details. If you run a club or a league: its name, address, contact details, waiver text, and the payment handles you choose to publish.
  • What you post. Club feed posts, replies, photos, match discussion, bug reports, and the messages you send us.
  • Contact details given to a club. Club officers may keep a member's or an officer's phone number or email in a private contact record. Only that club's staff, and the person it belongs to, can read it.

03

Information we collect automatically

  • Device and connection data. Browser and device type, operating system, screen size, language, and the IP address your requests come from.
  • Usage data. The pages you open, which match or club you looked at, and the errors the app hits — so we can find and fix them.
  • Cookies and local storage. A sign-in token that keeps you signed in, your light or dark preference, and where you were in a list so a page can return you to the same place. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not follow you across other websites.
  • Abuse signals. How often a post, message or request comes from the same account or address, kept for a short window so we can rate-limit spam.

04

How we use it

  • To run the match. Build the roster, squad shooters, hand cards to range officers, work out scores, standings and awards, and publish results.
  • To keep you informed. Entry confirmations, waitlist and partner-hold notices, squad and range officer assignments, match-day reminders, fee reminders, score alerts and club messages. These are sent by email or text. You can turn the optional ones off in your notification settings, though messages that are essential to a match you are entered in will still be sent.
  • To handle money. Record what an entry owes, confirm card payments made through the club's own Stripe account, and charge the platform's publish fee to a club when it publishes a match.
  • To keep it honest. Keep an audit trail of score changes and staff actions, hold suspicious posts for a club officer to review, and let a match director correct a mistake.
  • To support you. Answer your questions, fix problems, and act on reports made about a club.
  • To meet our obligations. Keep the records the law requires, and enforce our own rules.

05

What we share, and who with

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. We share it only in these ways:

  • The club you shoot with. Club owners, admins, match directors and range officers see the entries, contact details, rifle declarations, payment status and scores for their own matches and their own members. That is how a match gets run.
  • Other shooters, where results are public. Your name, shooter handle, division, class, squad and score appear on match rosters, live boards and published results. Your email address and phone number never appear there.
  • Stripe. When a club has connected its own Stripe account and you pay an entry fee by card, your payment details go to Stripe, which processes the payment for that club. PRM never stores your card number. The platform's own publish fee is also processed by Stripe.
  • Our email and messaging providers, who deliver the notifications described above.
  • Our hosting and database providers, who store the app's data for us under contract.
  • Where the law requires it, or to protect someone. If we are legally compelled to, or where it is needed to investigate fraud or abuse, or to prevent a risk to someone's safety.
  • With your direction, or in a business change. If you ask us to pass something on, or if the platform is ever transferred to someone else — in which case this policy goes with it.

06

What other people can see

PRM is a club platform, so some of what you put in is meant to be seen. Your shooter handle, name, division, class, squad and results are public, as are the posts and photos you put on a club feed.

Everything else is limited. Your email address, phone number, rifle declaration, waiver records and payment status are visible only to you and to the staff of the club you are shooting with.

Think before you post: a club feed can be read by that club's followers, and by anyone who can see the club's page.

07

How long we keep it

  • Account and entry data. For as long as your account is open, and for a short period afterwards while we settle any dispute or legal obligation.
  • Match results and standings. Results stay published after a match ends, because a season's standings are built on them. If you close your account, finished matches keep their published results and your name stays on the record of that match.
  • Waiver records. Kept by the club as proof of what was signed, even after an account is closed. That is the point of a waiver.
  • Notification and audit records. Kept for a limited period, then cleared.
  • Abuse counters. Kept for a short window only.

08

Your choices and your rights

You can see and correct most of your information in the app. Your profile, handle and notification settings all live under Manage, along with everything you run and the clubs you follow.

You can also close your account yourself, from Manage. Deleting your account removes your registrations and your scores in matches still running, releases your squad place, opens any Team Hunter pair you are half of, and signs you out for good. Finished matches keep their published results, and the club keeps the waivers you signed.

You can write to us at any time to ask for a copy of your information, to correct it, or to have it deleted.

  • If you live in a US state with a privacy law — California, Colorado, Virginia, Connecticut, Texas, Oregon and others — you may ask to know what we hold about you, to receive a copy, to correct it, to delete it, and to opt out of any sale or targeted advertising. We do not sell personal information and we do not use it for targeted advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of, but the right is yours.
  • If you live in the UK, the EEA or Switzerland, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, and you may object to processing we base on our legitimate interests. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
  • No penalty. We will not refuse you service or charge you more for exercising any of these rights.
  • Some records belong to the club. A roster, a signed waiver or a membership record is kept by the club. Ask that club directly, or tell us and we will pass the request on.

09

Children and juniors

PRM is built for adults and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13.

Many matches run a Junior category. A shooter under 18 enters with the knowledge and consent of a parent or guardian, who accepts the club's waiver on their behalf.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has given us information without your consent, contact us and we will remove it. Shooters under 18 should not post on club feeds or share photos of themselves without a parent's permission.

10

How we protect it

Sign-in runs through the platform's own authentication, passwords are never stored in the clear, and card details never touch our servers. Access to club data is limited by role: a range officer sees the shooters on their own stage, a match director sees their own match, an owner or admin sees their own club. We keep an audit trail of score changes and staff actions.

No system is perfect. If you think your account has been taken over, tell us straight away.

11

Clubs are responsible for their own data too

A club on PRM decides who may shoot there, who joins its roster, and what it asks of its members. If you shoot at a club, that club is the operator of its own member records, and its own privacy notice or practice applies to what it does with them. PRM holds that information for the club and shows it only to the people the club's roles allow.

If a club asks you for something PRM does not collect, deal with the club about it.

12

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the effective date at the top of the page. For anything significant we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use PRM after a change means you accept the updated policy.

13
