Precision Rifle Matches

Delete your account

How to close your Precision Rifle Matches account and have your data deleted — in the app, or by asking us. Precision Rifle Matches is owned and operated by Kansas Arms Supply, LLC.

Summary

You can close your Precision Rifle Matches account yourself, in the app, in about a minute. Everything that identifies you goes with it.

Below are the exact steps to do it, what is deleted, and the few things that are kept.

In the app

Delete your account in five steps

  1. 01

    Sign in to the app

Open Precision Rifle Matches and sign in with the account you want to close.

  2. 02

    Open Manage

Choose Manage from the main menu. It is where your profile, handle and notification settings live.

  3. 03

    Find Delete account

Scroll to the Delete account panel at the foot of that page.

  4. 04

Read what will go, then continue

The app lists exactly what closing the account removes. If you are the only manager of a club, it will ask you to hand that club over to another manager before you can carry on.

  5. 05

    Type DELETE to confirm

Type the word DELETE and press Delete my account. You are signed out straight away, and the account cannot be reopened.

01

If you would rather not do it yourself

Write to us through the Contact page and ask us to close your account. Tell us the email address the account is on, and say clearly that you want it deleted.

We will action the request within 30 days, and within 45 days where the law allows. We may need to confirm who you are before we act.

02

What is deleted

  • Your account. You are signed out and cannot sign back in.
  • Your profile. Your name, email address, profile photo and public shooter handle are removed from the app.
  • Every match registration you hold, including upcoming ones.
  • Your stage scores in any match that is still running.
  • Your squad place and firing order in those matches. A seat that empties goes to the first shooter on the waitlist, who is told.
  • Your club and league memberships, and your place on each roster. The club's owner is told the roster changed.
  • Your contact details — the phone number and email address a club kept for you.
  • Any Team Hunter pair you are half of, which is opened so your partner can pair again. They are told.
  • Anything still queued to be sent to you, which is never sent.

03

What is kept, and for how long

  • Finished matches. A match that has been finalised is history: its entries, scores, squad places and team results are left exactly as published, and your name stays on the record of that match, along with the rifle details recorded on it. Results and season standings are built on those records, so they are kept indefinitely.
  • Signed waivers. The club keeps a record of every waiver you signed — your name, the match, the waiver version and when you signed it. A waiver exists to be shown, so the club keeps it indefinitely, and it survives your account.
  • Posts you made on a club board. Closing your account does not remove feed posts or replies you wrote. Ask the club, or ask us, and we will take them down.
  • Score and staff audit records. A match director's record of score changes and staff actions is kept for the life of the match.
  • Abuse counters. Kept for a short window only, then cleared.

04

Delete some of your data without closing your account

You can remove a great deal without closing your account:

  • Withdraw an entry from a match before it runs, from the match page.
  • Edit or clear your name, handle and notification settings under Manage, and your profile photo, bio and page privacy from your shooter page.

For anything else — a copy of what we hold, a correction, or deletion of a particular record — write to us through the Contact page. That is the route to use if you want your data gone but wish to keep shooting.

Deletion requests

Ask us to delete your account.

Send it over and it goes straight to Precision Rifle Matches. Tell us the email address the account is on and say you want it deleted. We will action it within 30 days.
